This route is roughly 7 miles and is the perfect choice for families with younger children and nature lovers. Starting just south of Asheville, you'll paddle along the river catching a glimpse of the beautiful Biltmore Estate and a variety of wildlife. Please note that the Biltmore Estate is private property and stopping along the shores of the property is prohibited.

This option is for multi-day rentals ONLY. 

Canoes must not exceed 100 miles from Asheville. 

A multi-day rental gives you the opportunity to create your own unique paddle camping experience. With a Multi-Day rental, you have the option to rent up to two canoes for up to four days, and is the perfect choice for adventurers. 

18+ ONLY. 

A private all-inclusive rental that includes a guide and provides curated snacks and beverages. This route follows the 7 mile Scenic Paddle.

Access point

This route through Asheville is roughly 6 miles and can be busy during the summer time, as it is the main tubing section through town and the River Arts District. During this trip, plan to pass Carrier Park and the River Arts District, home to numerous artist studios, breweries, coffee shops, and one of the city's skate parks.
