Paddle for a Purpose

In summer 2023, Asheville Canoe House held its first Paddle for a Purpose event. We partnered with Blue Ridge Pride and raised $400 while building community, sharing laughs, and enjoying the French Broad River. 

Objective: By participating in Paddle for a Purpose, you are supporting local non-profits. Money from every sign-up goes directly to the local non-profit partnered with this event. 

Event Itinerary: 

• 9:30A.M. - Arrive to Craven Street Bridge River Access and Check-In with Asheville Canoe House
• 9:45-10A.M. - Receive transportation up to Hominy Creek River Park
• 10:30-10:45A.M. - Start Trip
• 1:30-2P.M. - Arrive to Craven Street Bridge River Access
